Samuel Coraux

Samuel Coraux became a jewellery designer by chance. Previosuly a film-maker, producer and traveller, he turned his hands to jewellery after a life-changing accident. His aspiration - to create drama in the wearer's life;  His Inspiration - his love of architecture and his background in film.

He now creates bold and abstract wearable pieces of art. Coraux uses tactile materials such as silicon alongside brightly coloured murano glass and ceramic beads,to create contemporary forms filled with energy and visual tension. He loves indulging his passion for abstract design. Working with silicon, the designer's process involves disengaging his mind and relying exclusively on his hands. The result are lightweight, wearable piece of abstract art, whose quirky, abstract aesthetic will instantly get you noticed.

Samuel's work is to be found in discerning shops around the world, including the shops at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in the Louvre, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Musee d'Art Moderne de Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum shop - the worlds leading museum for art & design.
