Alexandra Tsoukala is a greek designer and artist born in Athens in 1954. In 1992 she launched her design label " minimum design " to create unique products for light fittings, light sculptures, furniture, jewellery and fashion accessories. Her chosen material of interest is cloth.

We are terribly excited to bring to India her discerning wraps to be worn as overlays. Made from pleated coloured satin and starkly dramatic, these wraps are a fashion lovers joy. Alexandra enjoys working with pleats because she loves the way it catches the light and moves with the motion of the wearer.

Her work is available at the Acropolis and Benaki Museums of Athens, at the Art Institute of Chicago, and at several other museums in Germany, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and the USA. She has held three solo exhibitions  and received an excellence award for innovative design at FORM 2008.
